Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly residents, identifying specific care needs and creating personalized care plans.

• Provide both individual and group counseling, facilitating discussions that help clients navigate emotional challenges associated with aging, loss, and life transitions.

• Work collaboratively with physicians, social workers, and other health care professionals to formulate and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of geriatric patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve senior clients who are experiencing a range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, grief from loss, and the stress that often accompanies significant life transitions. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of three years of experience in mental health counseling, specifically working with geriatric populations or in addiction counseling.

• Possession of all state-mandated licenses required to practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and hours worked.
