Senior Financial Analyst

LaSalle Network is partnered with a consumer goods company in Chicago to place a Senior Financial Analyst who will sit at the intersection of FP&A and commercial finance, serving as a true business partner to Sales, Marketing, and Operations.


This is a high visibility role on a lean team with a defined path to Finance Manager for the right person.



Key Details:

• This role follows a 5x in office schedule in West Loop
• Compensation: $110,000-$120,000 base, eligibility to earn discretionary bonus
• Benefits: This role is eligible for a full benefits package - medical, dental, vision.

Responsibilities:

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting, forecasting, and P&L consolidation
• Build and maintain dynamic financial models for scenario planning and long range strategic plans
• Partner with Accounting on close accuracy and deliver monthly management reporting packages to senior leadership
• Serve as dedicated finance partner to Sales and Marketing on pricing, trade spend, and promotional ROI
• Develop and track KPIs across commercial functions with clear, actionable insights for functional leaders
• Evaluate new business opportunities and go to market strategies through financial modeling and business case development
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of progressive finance experience, ideally in CPG or consumer goods
• Advanced Excel skills required including complex formulas, pivot tables, and scenario analysis
• Hands on experience with ERP and planning tools; Microsoft D365 preferred
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools a plus
• Strong cross functional communication skills with ability to present financials to non-finance audiences
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• CPA, CFA, or MBA a plus but not required
