About the Role:
Seema Y Haque MD PA is looking for a friendly and organized Medical Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice in Arlington, TX. Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using medical scheduling software
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls, taking messages as needed
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect co-pays at time of service
• Maintain and update accurate patient records and demographic information in the EMR system
• Coordinate patient flow and communicate wait times to ensure a smooth office experience
• Handle medical billing inquiries and direct patients to appropriate staff as needed

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a medical front desk or healthcare administrative role preferred
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and medical scheduling software
• Knowledge of medical insurance verification and co-pay collection processes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical office certification a plus
