We are seeking a dedicated and efficient individual to join our team as a Dishwasher. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are washed and sanitized in a timely manner. This role plays a crucial part in supporting our kitchen operations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness. The backbone of a great dining experience is a clean kitchen. Responsibilities Opening and midday maintenance of facilities including cleaning & stocking all restrooms, sweeping & mopping floors, and maintaining clean outdoor areas Complete opening and closing procedures. Load, run and unload the dish machine. Set-up the bay sink with detergent, rinse, and sanitizer. Stock all necessary cleaning products. Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately. Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle. Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware in it’s appropriate location. Maintain all dish and food service equipment storage areas. Keep the dish washing area clean and organized. Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for the dining room and kitchen. Bag and haul dish room trash to the dumpster at designated times. Assist with trash removal from other kitchen and FOH areas. Assist with food prep when needed. Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss. Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies in all areas. Clean food preparation and production areas as required. Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor Qualifications Must be at least 16 years old Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 6 hours). Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds. Ability to read and comprehend labels on chemicals Must be eligible to work in the United States Reliable transportation to and from work Flexibility in schedule to assume responsibilities as needed; ability to balance personal and professional life Compensation This position pays $14/hour with awesome employee perks.
