Job Summary: This role is dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings, adhering strictly to infection control protocols and organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces.
- Clean and disinfect equipment and supplies, ensuring proper maintenance.
- Handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste in compliance with safety guidelines.
- Follow all infection prevention and safety policies diligently.
- Work both independently and collaboratively to fulfill department objectives.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
- Previous related experience is advantageous.
- Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience recommended.
Work Schedule: Night shift from 11:00pm to 7:00am, full-time with 37.5 scheduled weekly hours.
This position is located in a regional healthcare facility serving the Midwest area of the United States.
