Blue Ridge Hospice Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team. Key Responsibilities\n

• Build and maintain a positive, trusting relationship with clients to facilitate open communication and effective treatment.

• Diagnose a range of mental health disorders, utilizing evidence-based assessment tools and therapeutic techniques during sessions.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that are tailored to meet each client’s unique needs, goals, and circumstances.
\n
• Conduct regular therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families, adapting therapeutic approaches as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Perform ongoing evaluations of patient progress and modify treatment plans according to client feedback and changing needs.
\n
• Refer clients to additional specialists and services when necessary, while ensuring continuity of care and support.
\n
• Document therapy sessions and progress notes thoroughly in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families facing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, and significant life transitions. Clients are primarily adults, but the therapist may engage with adolescents and children in family therapy settings. Our goal is to empower clients to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives through comprehensive therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Colorado is mandatory.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

• Demonstrable experience in providing either individual and/or group therapy in a clinical setting.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively to ensure optimal client outcomes and administrative efficiency.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster a supportive therapeutic relationship with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in hospice or palliative care settings is advantageous, offering a unique perspective on mental health related to end-of-life issues.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and tools to facilitate remote counseling effectively.

• Experience with specific therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), emotion-focused therapy (EFT), or systemic therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
