If you're an early riser who takes pride in accuracy and creating an exceptional shopping experience, this opportunity is for you!As a Pricing & Inventory Clerk, you'll play a key role in keeping our store accurate, organized, and customer-ready. From completing price changes and managing backroom inventory to setting planograms and preparing the weekly ad, your work ensures our customers can easily find what they need at the right price.What You'll Do Complete daily pricing updates and promotional sign changes with accuracy. Assist with planogram resets to ensure merchandise is displayed according to company standards. Organize and maintain backroom inventory to support efficient product flow. Monitor inventory levels and help identify opportunities to improve accuracy and organization. Work collaboratively with teams across the store to execute merchandising initiatives. Support our weekly ad changeover by working one overnight shift each week to ensure the store is ready for customers when the doors open.What We're Looking ForA keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.Someone who enjoys organization, merchandising, and creating visually appealing displays.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Comfortable using technology and learning new systems.Reliable, dependable, and able to prioritize multiple tasks.Able to lift, bend, reach, and move merchandise throughout the shift.What will you be doing?You will build rapport with customers.Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.Help customers with any questions they may have. If you aren’t able to answer their question, you will direct them to another team member who can.Stock product and maintain displays according to merchandising standards.Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks.This position is applicable to the following departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.What skills will you use?You are detail-oriented and organized.Strong listening and communications skills, face-to-face and virtually.Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology.Problem-solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot when necessary.You are process-driven and able to follow procedures in an organized and efficient way.You work well in a fast-paced environment.Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling product.Ability to stand for long periods of time.Desire to work with customers on a consistent basis.Meijer starts with me.It's not just a brand name, it’s a family name.
