About the Opportunity

Join an established real estate investment team actively acquiring residential properties throughout the DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia markets . Our business purchases properties directly from homeowners, renovates and resells homes, and builds a portfolio of long-term rental properties.

We are expanding our acquisitions team and looking for a sales-oriented professional who is confident on the phone, comfortable negotiating, and motivated by performance-based compensation .

The Role

As a Real Estate Acquisition Specialist , you will work directly with homeowners who may be considering selling their properties. You will manage opportunities from the initial conversation through an accepted purchase agreement.

This is not a traditional real estate agent position. You will be working with a steady pipeline of company-generated leads, learning each seller's situation, evaluating potential acquisitions, presenting solutions, and negotiating agreements that make sense for both the homeowner and our company.

Compensation includes a base salary ($4,000/m) plus commission (10%) , with strong performers having the potential to earn approximately $7,000–$20,000+ per month .

What You'll Do

• Contact and follow up with company-provided seller leads
• Speak with homeowners by phone to understand their situation, goals, and timeline
• Develop trust and maintain consistent follow-up with prospective sellers
• Identify serious selling opportunities and determine appropriate next steps
• Gather information about properties, including condition and relevant circumstances
• Research comparable sales and assist in determining property values
• Present offers and negotiate pricing and other purchase terms
• Move qualified opportunities toward signed purchase agreements
• Maintain accurate notes, follow-up tasks, and deal stages within the company's CRM
• Coordinate with other team members as properties move from acquisition toward closing

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of sales experience , preferably involving phone sales, real estate, inside sales, or performance-based compensation
• Strong conversational and relationship-building skills
• Confidence discussing price and negotiating with prospective sellers
• Comfortable handling objections and following up persistently without being overly aggressive
• Able to manage approximately 50–70 outbound and follow-up calls per day
• Organized and consistent with CRM and pipeline management
• Self-directed, dependable, competitive, and receptive to coaching
• Motivated by measurable goals and commission-based earning potential

A real estate license is not required.
