Temporary Member Service Representative

Visions Federal Credit Union is looking for Temporary Member Service Representatives to join our branch team in Ithaca, NY. In this frontline role, you'll help create a positive member experience by assisting with everyday transactions, providing friendly and professional service, and supporting members with accuracy, care, and attention to detail. This is a temporary position expected to run through the end of December/January, with the exact end date based on business needs.

Position Type: Temporary, full-time, 40 hours per week. Regular shifts include Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with rotating Saturday shifts from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This is a temporary position expected to run through the end of December/January, with the exact end date based on business needs.

Compensation: $17.30 per hour

Location: On-site at our Ithaca Branch located at 410 Elmira Rd, Ithaca, NY 14850. This position may support our Spencer and Cortland branches as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Deliver friendly, professional service while assisting members with routine transactions and account-related needs.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and following established procedures.
• Create a welcoming, member-centered experience that reflects Visions' commitment to service.
• Communicate clearly, answer questions, and help connect members with appropriate resources or support.
• Maintain attention to detail while balancing service, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced branch environment.

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Previous teller, cash handling, customer service, or member service experience is a plus.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office programs and standard office equipment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and service skills.
• Ability to stay organized, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Attention to detail and the ability to perform basic math functions.
• Commitment to following credit union policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal requirements.
