Details Med/Surg Acute unit within a hospital setting Day shift schedule, 0630-1900, three 12-hour shifts per week Requirements Active CA RN license required Current BLS certification from an approved vendor required Current ACLS certification (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) required BSN preferred Acute care facility experience preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in specialty required, with recent experience within the last 3 months Cerner or Epic experience must be documented if applicable Additional Information Delivers coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient or group of patients according to established standards and the nursing process Supervises and directs activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines Collects and analyzes patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care needs Develops and implements individualized care plans and evaluates patient progress toward outcomes Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe, humane, and caring treatment Provides patient and family education and participates in discharge planning for continuity of care Delegates duties appropriately and coordinates the healthcare team Accepts local candidates with no radius rule, and local rates match travel rates Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered Candidates with any prior licensure action will not be considered Required annual vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available American Traveler Job ID P-748643.
