A local insurance company is looking for a licensing coordinator to support the licensing, appointment, and compliance process for our insurance agents. This role is essential in ensuring agents are properly licensed, appointed, and compliant with state and carrier regulations.

A local insurance company is looking for a licensing coordinator to support the licensing, appointment, and compliance process for our insurance agents. This role is essential in ensuring agents are properly licensed, appointed, and compliant with state and carrier regulations.
Responsibilities
- Process new agent licenses, appointments, renewals, and terminations
- Track and maintain multi-state licensing records
- Monitor license expirations and continuing education (CE) requirements
- Submit licensing and appointment filings with carriers and state departments of insurance
- Communicate licensing requirements, deficiencies, and status updates to agents
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in internal systems
- Coordinate with internal departments, carriers, and regulatory agencies
- Assist with audits, compliance reviews, and reporting
- Ensure all licensing activities meet company and regulatory standards
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate degree or greater preferred
- Excellent computer proficiency
- Work well under pressure and deadlines
- Lift and move 25 pounds
- A clean drug screen
- Communicate effectively
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and internal systems
- Work well in teams and individually
- A clean background check
- Positive and helpful attitude
- Pay attention to details
