Our client, a leading organization in the facilities management sector, is seeking a dedicated Facilities Coordinator to join their team. As a Facilities Coordinator, you will be an integral part of the operations team supporting various facility-related functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Coordinator Location: Henrico, VA Pay: $28/hr.

What's the Job?

• Develop and implement comprehensive facility management programs, including preventative maintenance and lifecycle planning.
• Supervise maintenance and repair activities for facilities and equipment, ensuring operational efficiency.
• Lead, manage, and develop the facilities staff, including coordinating with external contractors and vendors.
• Oversee facility refurbishment, renovations, and space utilization to optimize resources.
• Manage budgets, track expenditures, and analyze variances to ensure cost-effective operations.

What's Needed?

• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and complex facility management practices.
• Experience in construction, workflow management, and procurement processes.
• Proficiency in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and manage teams and projects effectively.
