As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Perris, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location as an unarmed driving patrol officer. In this role, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and activities according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking lots, warehouse spaces, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, verifying credentials and reporting unusual behavior, damaged property, or policy violations.
• Support traffic flow and trailer movement around the location by observing assigned areas, communicating clearly with site contacts, and reporting conditions that may require attention.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
