Work Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8 AM - 5PM Location: 30281 Golden Lantern, Laguna Niguel, Ca 92677 Primary Responsibilities: Follows open and closing procedures according to office policies and procedures Greets and checks in patients in a polite, prompt and helpful manner Have patients complete and sign any appropriate forms. Reviews all completed forms for accuracy and updates, including insurance information Collects all copayments, deductibles and outstanding balances according to Policies and Procedures Answers phones, transfers calls and communicate messages from patients to physicians, medical assistants and office staff when appropriate Schedules appointments and verify insurance eligibility according to standard work Checks out patients, schedule follow up appointment's and provide patient with appointment related documents Respond appropriately and timely to patient concerns and/or need Ensures their work is being performed according to company policies, procedures and standards Ensures all OSHA, HIPAA and other regulations are followed Regular attendance at work and staff meetings You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED 1+ years of medical practice office experience Basic level of experience with MS Office Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of medical terminology EMR experience Bilingual (English/ Spanish) Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $18 - $32 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
