Customer Service / Logistics Coordinator

Jacksonville, FL (Southside) In Office

Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay $20-22/hr.

Position Summary

We are searching for an organized, detail-oriented, and highly motivated multitasker who is interested in building a career in the transportation and logistics industry. This role will support daily freight operations by coordinating shipments between trucking companies, carriers, and customers while ensuring excellent customer service and timely communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate freight shipments with trucking companies and customers.

• Schedule and track loads to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.

• Communicate with carriers, drivers, and customers regarding shipment status and updates.

• Enter and maintain shipment information accurately in company systems.

• Resolve delivery issues and provide proactive customer support.

• Monitor freight movements and follow up on delayed or problem shipments.

• Maintain organized records and documentation for all loads.

• Assist the operations team with additional logistics and customer service duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, logistics, transportation, or dispatch experience is preferred.

• Strong phone communication and customer service skills.

• Excellent computer skills and ability to learn logistics software quickly.

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
