National Sales Manager

Overview:To assist the Director of Sales & Marketing in support of the Sales operation and work closely with the Catering Sales Conference Services Department and Reservation Sales Department to maximize revenues; maintain positive interdepartmental communications; contribute to the overall direction and operation of the hotel and to effectively control and minimize all marketing expenses while exceeding overall budgeted revenues and : Onsite based role at Omni Scottsdale Resort at Montelucia. Remote-based candidates will not be Functions:Meet or exceed weekly quarterly and annual sales goals targets and actively solicit and map group business accounts per defined a complete database of accounts in defined and qualify potential prospects through participating in prospecting tradeshows sales blitzes and other sales outcome of all sales initiatives by following up on leads following up with clients in-house to identify additional business opportunities and aggressively managing all Group Sales Standards of Operation and policies and procedures (generating and completing all necessary forms correspondence etc.).Properly convey rate and package information within approved limits to maximize and protect our overall resort revenue in a manner that demonstrates the philosophies of The Power of One and Omni Hotels in a professional manner to clients and potential clients at every customer relations GSO relations trade relations industry relations and staff all Omni Properties and offer information to clients to cross sell the brand as well and promote other memberships and relationships available for members at participating closely with all departments such as Revenue Management Convention Services and Reservations departments to ensure that all details are communicated for to ensure a successful meeting to all of the various written mandatory standards of operations policies and procedures manuals memos oral instructions etc. all of which go to make up the essential functions of the other tasks as needed or directed to ensure effective Resort :Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced have at least 3 years of group selling experience (resort experience preferred).Strong analytical and researching skills to identify prospective presentation to manage multiple priorities and re-prioritize when in outbound solicitation site inspections/visits with clients and contract customer service and rapport building computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word PowerPoint Excel and totravelas needed to represent the have a flexible schedule to works nights weekend and holidays as Environment/Tools and Equipment:Exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions when on site tours Interior of hotel in normal office conditionsAbility to sit for lengths of timeExtended computer usageMinimal lifting requirements
