Exempt Organizations Tax Associate - Tampa, FL Who: A developing tax professional with experience serving tax-exempt organizations and a desire to grow in a collaborative environment. What: Prepare tax filings, support compliance and consulting work, and collaborate with firm and market leaders. When: Hiring immediately to support the expanding Not-for-Profit Tax team. Position Overview The Not-for-Profit Tax Experienced Associate will support compliance and consulting services for tax-exempt organizations, contribute to client engagements, and gain exposure to a variety of nonprofit sectors while building technical and professional skills. Key Responsibilities Provide tax compliance and consulting services to not-for-profit clients. Prepare Forms 990, 1120, and related filings for exempt organizations and their affiliates. Use strong analytical, communication, and project management skills to support engagements. Consult with market and firm leaders on client needs. Network within the community and relevant industries to build relationships. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. Ability to obtain CPA licensure; active CPA preferred. 2+ years of public accounting experience. Experience serving tax-exempt organizations.
