Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Valid Tier 4 Early Childhood Special Education License (required)
• Experience teaching in self-contained early childhood special education settings is preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with staff, students, and families
• Organized, adaptable, and committed to meeting the diverse needs of young learners

Responsibilities:

• Teach two groups of 6–8 early childhood students in self-contained classrooms
• Morning group meets Tuesday–Friday; afternoon group also meets Tuesday–Friday
• Provide instruction, implement individualized plans, assess progress, and support social-emotional growth
• Monday is dedicated to paperwork, meetings, or floating sub support within the ECSE program
• Work closely with two full-time paraeducators to ensure an engaging and safe classroom
• For the part-time role: flexible schedule options available, with the potential to transition to full time
