Staffing Coordinator

Job Duties

IDR is seeking a Staffing Coordinator for one of our top Healthcare clients in Rochester, MN. This role is a temporary assignment. You will play a key part in maintaining efficient staffing workflows to support quality patient care.

• Manage and support staffing schedules for healthcare professionals, including RNs, PCAs, and HUCs.

• Communicate staffing needs and updates to team members via phone and electronic systems.

• Assist in assigning staff to open shifts based on availability and skill set.

• Support the onboarding and orientation process for new staff members.

• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure staffing coverage aligns with patient care demands.

• Maintain accurate records of staffing activities and shift changes.

• Provide excellent customer service to internal teams and staff members.

Requirements for the Staffing Coordinator:

• High school diploma or GED, with at least one year of experience in a call center or support role.

• Experience supporting healthcare teams, especially in inpatient care or staffing.

• Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt quickly.

• Prior experience with scheduling or staffing systems is a plus.

• Knowledge of healthcare workflows or inpatient care environments is preferred.
