Position Overview

AZ Wire & Cable is seeking a motivated and relationship driven Inside Sales Account Manager to join our growing sales team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building customer relationships, generating new business opportunities, and working in a fast-paced sales environment. Whether you’re beginning your sales career or bringing previous industry experience, we provide the training, support, and resources needed for long-term success.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying new business opportunities
• Prospect and develop new customers through outbound phone calls, email campaigns, and relationship-building activities
• Build strong customer relationships by understanding needs and delivering excellent service
• Collaborate with internal sales and operations teams to achieve branch and company sales goals
• Maintain accurate customer activity, lead tracking, and pipeline management within CRM systems
• Continue developing product knowledge and sales skills through ongoing training and mentorship

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Self-motivated with a competitive drive and desire to succeed
• Comfortable working in a team-oriented sales environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent sales/customer service experience
• Prior inside sales, distribution, industrial, electrical, or wire & cable experience is a plus, but not required
