Registered Nurse - Pediatric Critical Care

Role Overview: Provides leadership and coordination in a pediatric intensive care unit, ensuring quality patient care and effective staffing. Key Responsibilities: Assigns, educates, and monitors nursing/support staff Develops patient care plans Collaborates with providers to achieve optimal outcomes Evaluates care effectiveness Addresses patient care concerns Participates in staffing decisions and staff evaluations Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with at least one year of RN experience. Requires physical stamina, excellent communication, and assessment skills. Certifications: Valid RN license, BLS, and ALS or equivalent certifications applicable per state. Additional certifications such as PALS, ENPC, or NRP are preferred depending on location. Key Duties: Ensure patient safety, oversee staff performance, respond to clinical issues, and perform other related tasks.
