Learning Support Assistant

The learning support assistant plays a key role in supporting student success by managing all Upper School testing center operations and assisting with learning support services PK-12. This is a part time position, working approximately 24 hours per week, eligible for benefits. This position oversees tasks such as training and scheduling proctors, coordinating proctor communication and actively proctoring exams while ensuring a secure, organized and supportive testing environment for all students. In addition to testing center responsibilities, the assistant handles a range of administrative duties, including maintaining learning support documentation, submitting accommodation applications to organizations like the College Board and ACT, and supporting the learning support team with tasks such as sharing accommodation plans. The position also involves enrolling students in and managing access to resources like Learning Ally and other educational technology platforms.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the Upper School testing center
• Maintain learning support documentation
• Work closely with the PK-12 director of learning support in all aspects of the College Board and ACT accommodation application process for students and their families
• Serve as an active member of the PK-12 learning support department
• Manage access to resources such as Learning Ally and other educational technology platforms
• Assist the learning support team with other administrative tasks
