Job Overview Working Title: Information Technology Supervisor II Department: California’s Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) Location: Sacramento County Salary: $8,504.00 – $11,395.00 Agency: CalRecycle Responsibilities Direct supervision of staff performing project management and business analysis for software application systems development and maintenance of applications managed by CalRecycle. Provide leadership in project management, business analysis, contract and vendor management, and long‑term IT planning aligned with departmental and agency strategic goals. Collaborate closely with the IT Management team to plan and manage IT staff and resources. Act as project manager or business analyst for more complex technology projects, including analysis and/or testing of applications. Serve as a key member of the IT and Department Management Team, performing short‑ and long‑term planning and aligning IT services with CalRecycle’s objectives. Qualifications Applicants must meet the Minimum Qualifications listed in the Classification Specification for Information Technology Supervisor II. Relevant experience in information technology management, project management and business analysis is required. Candidates may use education in conjunction with experience to satisfy the minimum qualifications; appropriate transcripts or degree certificates must be provided. Additional Information This position requires employees to report to the office at least four days per week beginning July 1, 2026.
