Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered nursing care for patients across the age range served on the assigned unit, following the nursing process.
- Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with physicians and the health care team; incorporate input from patients and families.
- Monitor, assess, document, and adjust care based on patient condition and response to treatment.
- Coordinate and communicate with multidisciplinary team members; ensure safe and timely delivery of care.
- Educate patients and families, address discharge planning needs, and document teaching provided to support ongoing recovery at home.
- Delegate appropriate aspects of care to other licensed or unlicensed staff according to competence and scope of practice.

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in California (CA)
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) or equivalent
- Ability to work nights in a fast-paced emergency department setting
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN)
- ER or acute care nursing experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills
