Freight Broker

Express Logistics is currently hiring a Freight Broker to join our fast-paced and growing transportation team. This role is ideal for a driven professional who thrives in a high-pressure environment, enjoys problem-solving, and excels at building strong relationships with carriers and internal teams. You will play a critical role in moving freight efficiently across the U.S. and Canada. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and internal operations teams Quote freight accurately and competitively based on market conditions and shipment requirements Negotiate rates and secure capacity to ensure profitable and reliable shipments Book and manage truckload and expedite freight Enter and maintain shipment details within the Transportation Management System (TMS) Communicate proactively with drivers, dispatchers, and customers to ensure on-time delivery Identify and resolve issues quickly to keep freight moving without disruption Who Succeeds in This Role: Experience in logistics or freight brokerage Proven ability to quote freight and understand market pricing Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Self-motivated, competitive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Why EXPRESS?
