Industrial Hose Assembler

The Industrial Hose Department Teammate at Bridgestone HosePower is responsible for ensuring the safe manufacturing of various industrial hose assemblies for our customers and branches.Key ResponsibilitiesAttain and improve knowledge of various hose assembly components, their names, their functions, and specifications.Correctly read a tape measure.Read and understand shop paperwork, including schematics.Read and understand standard operating procedures to correctly manufacture hose assemblies.Safely operate all Industrial Hose Department tools, equipment, and machinery.Safely operate forklifts.Use the TWL system to pull products and maintain inventory integrity.Work effectively with other departments involved in product procurement and placing orders.Support cycle counts and inventory audits as required.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Perform additional duties as assigned.Adhere to all company safety standards and regulations.BenefitsOur comprehensive benefits package includes:401(k) with company match and immediate vestingHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceShort & Long Term Disability Insurance company paidLife Insurance company paidCritical Illness Insurance company paidAccident Insurance company paidVision InsuranceEmployee Discount ProgramCasual Work Environment8 Company Paid Holidays with 3 floating daysVacation Accrual (within your first year)Great opportunity for future advancementQualificationsHigh school diploma preferred.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.Ability to work independently or in a team setting.Forklift certification is a plus.RF scanner experience is a plus.Work EnvironmentFast-paced warehouse setting.Exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
