Duties Receive and follow instructions from the Team Leader in charge. Pack, stack, pull, push and label product boxes & cases. Load/unload bread upon request, as instructed. Repack and assemble shippers. Inspect quality of product. Assist co-workers as required. Support machine operator as needed. Communicate any operational problems that may affect quality of product to Team Leader. Follow safety requirements at all times. Perform any and all tasks requested by the Team Leader or lead person. Physical activities of this position Climbing: Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, etc. Body agility is emphasized. Balancing: Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces. Stooping: Bending body downward and forward bending spine at the waist. Kneeling: Bending legs at knee to sit on knee or knees. Crouching: Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine. Moving on hands and knees or hands and feet. Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. Standing: Particularly for sustained periods of time. Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances.
