Operations Manager

General Summary Responsible for general day to day management of the assigned facility, that may include SEKO MedTec Solutions, and working closely with other functional leaders in the company. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Oversee all related operational functions for the assigned facility, that may include SEKO MedTec Solutions. Assure the cost-effective handling of all company products and services. Develop new and improved products for the company. Assure that the company's FDA and ISO requirements are met. Hire and direct staff to develop the necessary resources and planning necessary to meet scheduled commitments. Direct employees, and others, in the hands-on operation of the company's operations functions, whether in-house or sub-contracted. Ensure that the company's capabilities meet or exceed all industry and customer requirements for performance, cost, quality and responsiveness. Work closely with management on the development and implementation of facility plans, goals, and product development. Develop and manage budgeting and budget execution with a focus on costs and company margins. Interface with Marketing to meet with customers and potential customers to discuss and set scheduling timelines for new and existing product development and delivery. Qualifications Ability to acquire TSA certification (required) Ability to synthesize complex or diverse information. Problem solving to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Oral communication ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, demonstrates group presentation skills and conducts meetings. Delegation of work assignments, gives authority to work independently, sets expectations and monitors delegated activities. Leadership ability to inspire and motivate others to perform well. Ability to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. Ability to make decisions, exhibit sound and accurate judgment and make timely decisions. Ability to prioritize and plan work activities, using time efficiently and developing realistic action plans. Education And /or Experience BS degree in a technical discipline; MBA preferred At least five (5) years of Operations Management experience Language Skills Excellent oral and written and communication skills Ability to present information to all levels of employees and to outside vendors Computer Skills Basic PC (non-programming) skills Intermediate MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.) Physical Demands Sitting, six plus (6+) hours per work day Standing, less than two (2) hours per work day Work Environment Office Environment Travel Requirements Frequent #J-18808-Ljbffr
