Real Estate Associate Attorney (Administrative)

Job Details Job Details We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and driven Permanent Real Estate Associate Attorney (Administrative) to join our prestigious legal firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of administrative and legal tasks related to real estate law, particularly in the areas of agency, litigation, dhcr, nyc, human rights, oath, and rent stabilization. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned attorney to showcase their skills in a challenging and rewarding environment. Responsibilities As a Permanent Real Estate Associate Attorney (Administrative), your responsibilities will include:

  1. Representing clients in all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development, and leasing.
  2. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of real estate agreements and contracts.
  3. Providing legal advice on a broad range of real estate issues such as rent stabilization, human rights, and oath.
  4. Conducting thorough legal research and analysis on various real estate matters.
  5. Representing clients before administrative bodies including DHCR and NYC agencies.
  6. Litigating complex real estate disputes, including breach of contract, foreclosure, and landlord-tenant disputes.
  7. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and trends in the real estate industry.
  8. Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure the smooth running of our legal operations.
Qualifications The ideal candidate for the Permanent Real Estate Associate Attorney (Administrative) position must possess the following qualifications:
  1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  3. A minimum of 3-10 years of experience as a real estate attorney, with a focus on administrative law.
  4. Proven experience in agency, litigation, DHCR, NYC Human Rights, oath, and rent stabilization.
  5. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to interpret and draft complex legal documents.
  6. Strong research skills and proficiency in using legal databases.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  8. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
  9. High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
