About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead and direct a team of sales associates in achieving and exceeding sales goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing overall leadership, setting and managing sales targets, and ensuring the team operates with the highest levels of integrity and professionalism. This role requires a strategic thinker who can prepare and implement business plans, manage sales expenses, and work closely with the division management team to meet revenue, profit, and retention goals. The Vice President of Sales will also be tasked with growing the business and the team, providing coaching and direction for professional development, and collaborating with other functional areas to ensure the smooth implementation of sales. To succeed in this role, candidates must have 8-10 years of total sales experience, including substantial senior sales management experience, and a proven track record of managing a large sales team. The ideal candidate will be recognized for their outstanding leadership skills, professionalism, and business planning capability. While a college degree is not required, a background in sales, business, or military experience is highly valued. The role demands a leader who is empathic to client and team needs, yet unafraid to make bold moves and tough decisions. The Vice President of Sales will also be expected to report on sales activities, help improve processes, and ensure that the team is in line with the company's EEO and affirmative action plans.
