Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Location: Kodiak, AK
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Variable | 3x12 Hours
Job Summary"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to mothers and newborns in a critical access hospital setting. This opportunity is ideal for both experienced travelers and first-time travelers looking for an Alaska assignment.
Required QualificationsActive RN License
ACLS Certification
BLS Certification
NRP Certification
AWHONN Intermediate Certification
Minimum 1 Year of Labor & Delivery Experience
Ability to float within scope of practice
Provide nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum periods
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being
Perform patient assessments and fetal monitoring
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Assist physicians and providers during deliveries
Respond to obstetrical emergencies and complications
Educate patients and families regarding care plans
Maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Float to other units within scope as needed
First-Time Travelers Accepted
Weekend Requirement: Yes
On-Call Requirement: No
Guaranteed Hours: 60 Hours per 2 Weeks
Facility may call off one 12-hour shift per pay period
