Projects include process, packaging, utility, and facility electrical systems that support consumer products manufacturing in the food, beverage, paper, and general industrial markets.Primary Responsibilities:Actively promote, support, and follow the safety policies and procedures of Foth and our clientsUtilize AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Eplan, MicroStation, Revit, and other design software to prepare, review, modify, and maintain electrical design drawings and modelsDevelop and maintain electrical equipment layouts within coordinated multidisciplinary 3D modelsCreate electrical designs and construction documents for process, packaging, utility, and facility projectsDevelop electrical construction packages including one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and bill of materials (BOMs)Interpret and implement engineering markups and design revisionsReview design work prepared by team members for quality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable standardsReview project drawings, vendor submittals, and technical documentation as requestedCoordinate project activities with clients, vendors, contractors, and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs)Manage project documentation and distribute drawings and related documents through web-based platforms and document management systemsManage multiple priorities while working independently and collaboratively within project teamsCommunicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writingProvide field support during installation, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting activitiesRequired Qualifications:Associate's degree in drafting/design, electronics, electro-mechanical technology, or an equivalent technical discipline5+ years of experience working as a designer3+ years of experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Eplan, MicroStation, or similar CAD software3+ years of experience with Revit or other 3D design softwarePreferred Qualifications:10+ years of experience as a designer5+ years of experience using Eplan and/or AutoCAD ElectricalExperience implementing and configuring AutoCAD Electrical project environmentsExperience implementing and configuring Eplan project environmentsExperience working within BIM or multidisciplinary 3D design environmentsExperience supporting projects within the food, beverage, paper, consumer products, or general industrial sectorsDemonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects and competing prioritiesStrong organizational, communication, and time management skillsPreferred Previous Experience:Specifying electrical devices, instrumentation, and control componentsInstrument installation, wiring systems, and field devicesAllen-Bradley PLC and control system designDistributed Control System (DCS) design, including module specification and schematic wiring developmentDeveloping electrical and control panel layout designs and bill of materials (BOMs)Industrial communication and network systems, including ControlNet, Ethernet, EtherNet/IP, PROFIBUS, Modbus, and similar protocolsLow-voltage power distribution systems (480V and below), including one-line and three-line diagramsMotor Control Center (MCC) design and documentationElectrical codes and standards, including NFPA 79, NEC, NFPA 70E, and UL 508AIndustrial electrical construction practicesModicon PLC and control system designSiemens PLC and control system designAll Foth Companies are equal opportunity employers, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by law.
