Product Designer

Job Title: Jr Product Designer - Brooklyn, NY This is not a UX/UI position. We design and make physical products, not software/websites/apps. Please specify the position you are applying for in the subject line. The junior designer will have the opportunity to work as a member of the design team on various products. Projects include but are not limited to: product research and development, designing product specs, product renderings, and packaging. The individual can expect to work independently and in a team to learn how to apply creative concepts in a corporate setting, while gaining technical and leadership skills. Responsibilities Various design projects including product research and development, creating product specs, product renderings, and packaging. Working with the team to brainstorm new product and design ideas, and to critique each other’s work. Creating mock ups of new products for customers. Helping with design presentations for the sales and marketing teams. Working as a team with the other designers to ensure projects are on track with timelines. Qualifications Completed degree in Fine Arts / Graphic Design / Communication Design / Illustration Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign is a MUST Very strong organization skills Ability to work efficiently and effectively under short deadlines Self-starter, proactive and motivated Must be extremely detail oriented Creative problem-solving skills Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word Strong illustration skills a plus!
