\nPay Range: $89,000- $115,000 DOE

\nEmployment Type: Direct Hire
\n \nOur client, a global manufacturer of specialized gas and combustion equipment, is looking for a Test Engineer to own the full test process across their product line. This role focuses on testing high-pressure gas systems, combustion equipment, and custom-built units. If you want your work to directly shape engineering decisions and love to be hands-on - this is that role.
\n \nWhat You'll Do
\n- \n
- Develop and document test plans for products across sales orders and engineering projects, including custom units \n
- Execute engineering validation testing, primarily mechanical and thermal, against design requirements and applicable codes \n
- Set up instrumentation and data acquisition systems; record and reduce test data \n
- Report findings and performance conclusions to engineering to support design decisions \n
- Troubleshoot equipment and instrumentation when tests produce unexpected results \n
- Coordinate with the machine shop and order parts as needed to support testing \n
- Enforce safe test procedures and maintain lab equipment and data acquisition systems \n
What You Need
\n- \n
- BS in mechanical engineering, related engineering discipline \n
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a test engineer \n
- Experience designing and building test stands and instrumentation, including data acquisition for pressure, flow, and temperature \n
- Ability to write clear, complete test reports that stand alone without additional explanation \n
