Key Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering therapy treatments and interventions as prescribed by the supervising Physical Therapist, following individualized care plans.
• Continuously monitor patient responses to treatment and communicate any changes to the Physical Therapist to adapt care plans as necessary.
• Accurately document patient sessions and progress in our electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring timely and meticulous records.
• Educate patients on prescribed exercises and therapeutic techniques to enhance their rehabilitation experience and promote independence.
• Ensure all therapy equipment is maintained, safe, and appropriately prepared for use in order to promote the highest standards of care.
• Work collaboratively with the clinical team to support optimal patient care, participating in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse group of patients recovering from various conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain management, sports injuries, and neurological disorders. Your role is critical in helping patients restore mobility, improve strength, and enhance overall functioning through tailored therapeutic exercises and support.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid and active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in California.
• Have completed a Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• CPR/BLS certification is preferred, showcasing your commitment to patient safety and well-being.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with patients and collaborating with the clinical team.
• A detail-oriented, team-centric attitude promoting collaboration and effective problem solving in clinical settings.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
