Payroll Assistant

Payroll Assistant
Position open with Madison Local School District. Posting deadline: September 2, 2025. Location: Madison Board of Education. Hours: Full-time.
Qualifications: High school diploma. Data processing skills verified by training or work experience. Comprehensive understanding of governmental accounting standards, state accounting software and third party financial service providers. Advanced office-related technology skills deemed essential at the time of hire. Displays flexibility, reliability, self-discipline and a willingness to take on challenging tasks. Documents/maintains a record free of criminal violations that prohibit public school employment. Embodies high ethical standards/integrity. Accepts responsibility for personal decisions/conduct.
Reports to Treasurer.
Terms of employment: Salary, work year, and terms and conditions of employment as determined by the Madison Local Board of Education. Performance of the Assistant to the Treasurer will be evaluated by the Treasurer in accordance with the provisions of Madison Local Board of Education policy.
