Independent Handyman 1099

Lone Star Facility Management LLC

Job Description

The Independent Handyman 1099 is a solo contractor responsible for performing a wide range of home and commercial repair and maintenance tasks. This role requires frequent travel within the region using personal tools and a vehicle and handling projects that include plumbing, electrical work, painting, furniture assembly, and general repairs. The handyman is also expected to interact professionally with customers, manage tools, prepare estimates, and schedule jobs effectively.

Responsibilities

Perform home and commercial repairs and maintenance
Assemble furniture and complete plumbing fixes
Execute electrical work and painting tasks
Interact directly with customers to understand needs and provide solutions
Manage personal tools and maintain their condition
Schedule appointments and manage job timelines
Prepare accurate estimates for services
Travel frequently within the region for various projects

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of experience in general handyman services
Valid driver's license
Basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical repair, and painting skills
Strong problem-solving abilities
Excellent customer service skills
Effective time management
Tool maintenance expertise
