Advanced Manufacturing Materials Assistant (Hourly) We are seeking an individual to support daily manufacturing operations by performing routine materials handling, inventory tracking, and record‑keeping tasks. The role requires accuracy, consistency, and close attention to detail to ensure materials are properly managed and available for production and distribution. Description of Duties and Tasks Receive, sort, and organize incoming materials and supplies. Maintain accurate inventory and materials records. Assist with preparing materials for classes and perform routine evaluation of inventory and course needs. Label and store materials in designated locations. Identify and report inventory discrepancies or shortages. Prepare and process shipping and receiving documentation. Maintain organized storage and work areas. Follow established safety, quality, and inventory procedures. Support the materials management team with routine material requests and expectations. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records. Comfortable performing routine and repetitive tasks consistently and accurately. Basic computer skills, including spreadsheets, email, and inventory systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to safely lift, move, and organize materials and equipment. Understanding of workplace safety practices. Demonstrated proficiency with standard office software applications and student information and database systems. Physical Requirements Work is routinely performed in a standard office or similar environment. Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, and pulling. Occasional lifting of objects up to 30 pounds. Work safely and follow safety rules; report unsafe working conditions and behavior. Take reasonable and prudent actions to prevent others from engaging in unsafe practices. Pay Rate and Work Hours Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour; up to 19 hours per week.
