Job Title: Junior Systems Administrator

Job Summary


We are seeking a motivated Junior Systems Administrator to provide day-to-day system support across Windows-based environments, cloud platforms, and Active Directory. This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who is eager to grow their technical skills in a fast-paced environment. Extremely light exposure to Hadoop is beneficial but not a core requirement. Experience supporting healthcare or hospital environments is a strong plus.


Key Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level support for Windows server and desktop environments
• ssist with user account management, group policies, and permissions in ctive Directory
• Support cloud-based systems and services (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, or similar)
• Monitor system performance and assist with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
• Perform routine system maintenance, patching, and updates
• Document procedures, configurations, and support activities
• Escalate complex issues to senior administrators as needed
• Follow security, compliance, and IT best practices, especially in regulated environments

Required Qualifications

• Basic experience supporting Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11, Windows Server)
• Familiarity with ctive Directory concepts (users, groups, permissions)
• Introductory experience or coursework related to cloud technologies
• Basic understanding of IT troubleshooting and support processes
• Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset
• bility to learn quickly and work well in a team environment

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Extremely light experience or exposure to Hadoop (academic or entry-level exposure is sufficient)
• Prior experience working in a hospital or healthcare IT environment
• Familiarity with ITIL concepts or ticketing systems
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft fundamentals)
