Job Details Specialty: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) Setting: High-risk obstetrical unit Location: Dallas, TX 75230 Region: North Dallas healthcare jobs Assignment Type: Travel nursing Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 08/25/2026 Shift Duration: 12-hour nights Shift Time: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Shifts per Week: 3 Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,730 - $1,820 Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 2 years of recent high-risk Labor & Delivery nursing experience Experience caring for high-risk obstetrical and women's health patients Experience circulating in C-sections Experience recovering high-acuity postpartum patients Intermediate AWONN fetal monitoring certification Ability to work night shifts and rotate weekends as needed Strong teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking skills Responsibilities Provide bedside nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients with high-risk needs Monitor fetal status and support safe, timely interventions Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&Cs, and post-delivery recovery care Circulate in the operating room for obstetric procedures as assigned Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and the care team to promote positive outcomes Support triage, antepartum, and women's unit needs as appropriate Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit policies and best practices Apply now to join this Dallas travel nursing opportunity and make an impact in Labor & Delivery healthcare.
