Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 08/18/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Shift: 36 Hours/Week (3x12s) – Monday, Wednesday & Friday | 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM Call: Backup call every 9th weekend; holiday call as needed EMR/Equipment: Canon CT Scanner Requirements Active Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist License (Required) ARRT (CT) Advanced Registration strongly preferred BLS (AHA) required Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience preferred Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine program Job Responsibilities Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics . Operate CT equipment while following radiation safety and dose optimization standards. Ensure accurate patient identification, positioning, and image quality. Administer patient care, education, and maintain detailed medical documentation. Follow Joint Commission, state, federal, and hospital policies and protocols. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support department operations. Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring new staff and students as needed. Ideal Candidate Strong CT imaging experience in a hospital setting. Knowledge of radiation safety and patient care best practices. Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills. Comfortable working independently and participating in an on-call rotation.
