Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.35 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat, Sun 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, and report observed conditions to the appropriate contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas, assist with access control practices, and support orderly operations during normal business hours and after‑hours activity. Document incidents, daily activities, and/or notable observations in required reports, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 6 months of security‑related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
