Vascular Specialist II

A Brief Overview This position serves as an experienced vascular technologist and is required to perform all aspects of non-invasive vascular testing including but not limited to; Venous insufficiency studies, PVRs w/and w/out ex, renal and mesenteric duplex, AVF and AVG, BPG, Arterial duplex, venous duplex, venous mappings, and carotid duplex. This position may also require traveling to any of our many out-patients Health centers. Assists in education of medical staff and students, collaborate with other departments with participation in research projects. Participate in our monthly system quality meetings. Assist with billing and coding reconciliation, Must maintain active RVT/VT status, meet or exceeds IAC continuing education requirements. Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
