Schedule

Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Rotating Schedule: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off

What You'll Do

As a Quality Inspector, you'll play a key role in ensuring materials, components, and finished products meet strict quality and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished products using blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, microscopes, optical comparators, and other measuring equipment
• Identify and document non-conforming materials and quality concerns
• Audit manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
• Complete quality documentation and maintain accurate records
• Analyze inspection data using Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to improve product quality
• Train team members on inspection techniques and workmanship standards
• Monitor manufacturing processes and help troubleshoot quality issues

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings
• Hands-on experience with precision measurement tools
• Basic knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Strong computer skills, including Excel and documentation systems
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to communicate effectively across departments

Nice to Have

• Experience with SmartScope or vision inspection systems
• Medical device or regulated manufacturing experience
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vadnais Heights, MN.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
