About the Role We are looking for a Marketing Automation & Outreach Specialist to join our team and play a crucial role in driving lead generation, nurturing customer relationships, and optimizing our marketing campaigns. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in marketing automation tools and a proactive approach to outreach and engagement. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage automated marketing workflows and email sequences, as well as lead nurturing campaigns. Implement A/B testing and performance optimization for automated campaigns. Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing data-driven recommendations for improvements. Conduct outbound email and LinkedIn outreach campaigns to generate and nurture leads. Personalize outreach efforts based on audience segmentation and buyer personas. Collaborate with the sales team to align outreach strategies with sales goals. Identify and engage with potential prospects through strategic outreach. Track outreach performance and continuously refine messaging and targeting for better acquisition. Work closely with the content, design, and sales teams to align marketing automation and outreach strategies. Develop automated workflows that support customer journeys from awareness to conversion. Assist in the implementation of retargeting and remarketing strategies. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing automation and outreach. Qualifications & Requirements 2+ years in marketing automation, email marketing, or outbound marketing. Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Zoho, Clay, and Zapier) and tools like Zapier and Zoho. Experience with Clay, Klaviyo, and SmartLead is a plus. Hands-on experience with email outreach, LinkedIn networking, and lead generation strategies. Ability to analyze marketing metrics and optimize campaigns for better performance. Familiarity with lead scoring, segmentation, and workflow automation. Strong writing skills for personalized outreach and campaign messaging. A self-starter who can manage multiple campaigns and initiatives effectively. Goal: Develop a deep understanding of the company’s marketing automation systems, outreach strategies, and existing lead generation processes. Understand the Business & Goals Get familiar with the company’s mission, value propositions, and ideal customer profile (ICP). Review past and current marketing automation and outreach strategies. Understand key performance indicators (KPIs) for lead generation and outreach success. Review & Optimize Existing Tools Get access to and familiarize yourself with the company’s marketing automation tools (Clay, Klaviyo, SmartLead, La Growth Machine). Audit existing workflows, CRM segmentation, email sequences, and lead scoring models. Identify any inefficiencies or gaps in automation and outreach campaigns. Align with Teams Meet with sales, content, and design teams to understand collaboration points. Align outreach messaging with sales goals and content strategy. Execute Initial Outreach & Automation Tasks Implement minor optimizations to existing automation workflows. Begin personalizing outbound email and LinkedIn messaging based on segmentation insights. Assist in ongoing outreach campaigns while monitoring response rates. Goal: Optimize workflows, implement data-driven improvements, and refine outreach messaging. Enhance Marketing Automation Implement A/B testing for subject lines, email content, and CTAs in automated workflows. Develop new automated workflows to nurture leads through different funnel stages. Expand personalized outreach on LinkedIn and email based on behavioral triggers. Identify high-priority prospects and create tailored messaging sequences. Track outreach performance metrics (open rates, response rates, conversions). Collaborate & Align with Sales Work with the sales team to improve lead handoff processes. Create a feedback loop for refining outreach messaging based on sales insights. Provide sales enablement materials that align with outreach strategies. Performance Analysis & Reporting Monitor engagement analytics and conversion rates of automated and outbound campaigns. Provide recommendations to improve automation efficiency and outreach effectiveness. Begin developing a monthly report on key metrics for leadership review. Days 61-90 – Scale & Innovate Goal: Drive long-term success by scaling campaigns, implementing new automation strategies, and contributing to growth. Expand outreach efforts to new verticals, regions, or audience segments. Experiment with new personalization tactics for outbound campaigns. Introduce additional automation tools or integrations. Optimize & Expand Marketing Automation Implement retargeting and remarketing workflows for nurturing leads. Test new email cadences and LinkedIn outreach strategies. Advanced-Data Analysis & Reporting Conduct deep-dive analyses on the performance of automation and outreach campaigns. Provide a roadmap for future campaign improvements based on data insights. Present findings and recommendations to leadership for strategic adjustments. Continuous Improvement & Industry Trends Stay updated on marketing automation and outreach trends.
