Buyer / Procurement Specialist Location: Santa Clara, CA (100% Onsite) Pay: Up to $35/hour Schedule: Day Shift (8-hour shifts) Experience: 3–5 Years Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer / Procurement Specialist to support purchasing and supply chain operations in a fast-paced environment. This role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams while developing strong vendor relationships and driving cost-effective procurement strategies. Key Responsibilities Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and purchase agreements with suppliers Manage non-strategic suppliers and purchasing activities Issue RFQs, analyze proposals, and award business to vendors Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of materials Expedite orders and resolve delays or supply issues Partner with engineering and supply chain teams to identify and onboard new suppliers Maintain inventory levels in coordination with manufacturing Resolve material discrepancies, receiving issues, and invoicing concerns Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field preferred 3–5 years of purchasing or procurement experience Experience with SAP, Ariba, or similar procurement systems Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Skills and Knowledge Understanding of supply chain processes and purchasing strategies Inventory management and logistics knowledge Vendor management and contract negotiation experience Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong collaboration and teamwork mindset Why This Opportunity Stands Out This role provides an opportunity to make a direct impact on supply chain performance while working with cross-functional teams.
