ICU Nurse – Nursing

Schedule: 26-week contract through holidays; 7a-7p / 7p-7a; 3x12s, variable shifts scheduled as needed.

Assignment Details: Contract Weeks: 26

Requirements:

License: Currently licensed by NYS as a registered professional nurse.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation. Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire. CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
Preferred: Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association recommended within 2 years of hire. TNCC recommended within 2 years of hire.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, making necessary adjustments to care plans.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plans.
