ACCOUNTANT - AP / AR / General Ledger

Accountant / Analyst

A leading World Class Tier-1 supplier of components for the automotive industry, has several full-time on site ACCOUNTANT / ANALYST position available at their facility located south of the Winchester, VA area.

This ACCOUNTANT AP/AR/ General Ledger establishes and maintains accounting policies and controls, fiscal controls, preparing financial reports and safeguarding the organization's assets.

Maintains accounting and financial records and reports, including general ledger, financial statements, regulatory and management reports.

Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables duties also required.

Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintains accurate records and control reports.

Keeping records of all delinquent accounts, incomplete files, and credit risks.

Interface with Treasury, Purchasing and the Division Finance teams to drive standardization in payment terms and payment dates to support the company directive for managing money.

May also be responsible for travel and expense policies for the company.

Other accounting duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Specific experience working as Accountant, Accounting Analyst or similar in the area of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger.

Degree required in related field plus 3 years of relative experience in field.
