Overview Registered Nurse – Med Surg Tele in a 20-bed unit located in Saratoga Springs, NY. This travel, temporary assignment begins 09/08/2026 for 16 weeks, with weekly pay of $2,294–$2,318. Guaranteed hours are not specified. Shift is 3x12-hour nights with a rotating night/day schedule. Work setting is a hospital unit focused on Palliative, Stroke, and Tokosyn care, with potential to float to other units as needed. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,294–$2,318 per week Contract duration: 16 weeks Shift: 3x12-hour nights with rotating day/night schedule Hours per week: 36–48 hours available Unit details: 20-bed Palliative/Stroke/Tikosyn unit in a hospital setting Additional requirements: Must float to other units, work at least one holiday per contract, and a weekend schedule (1 weekend per week or 2 every other weekend); residency >50 miles from the facility Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care for adult patients on a Med Surg Tele unit, including monitoring and recognizing changes in patient status. Administer prescribed medications and treatments, including IV therapies, following physician orders and hospital policies. Perform comprehensive assessments, develop and adjust care plans, and elevate acute changes to the care team as needed. Document care and patient response in EPIC; communicate effectively with physicians, pharmacists, and other members of the health care team. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning, patient education, and safety goals. Float to other units as required and participate in charge nurse activities; adhere to facility policies and shift-based expectations. Requirements Active New York RN license AHA BLS certification and NIHSS Minimum 1 year of recent acute Med Surg/Tele experience 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates EPIC charting experience Ability to float to other units and work in a charge role with training; must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; must be willing to work a rotating night/day schedule and at least one holiday per contract Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Assignment support and credentialing assistance Orientation and ongoing clinical support Dedicated help throughout the assignment Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
