What We Offer Competitive Wages: Starting a 60k/year, with potential for a higher rate based on your experience and qualifications. *based on full-time, 40-hour work week Paid Time Off (PTO) Retirement Plan Pet Care Discounts A supportive, team-oriented environment What You’ll Do Establish operational systems, workflows, and accountability structures Lead day-to-day hospital operations including staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management Partner with the practice owner on budgeting, growth strategy, and service development Foster a cohesive, respectful, and high-performing team culture Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvements Ensure an exceptional, frictionless client experience Because we are a small team, this role requires functional, hands-on capability. You must be comfortable stepping in to support front desk operations, assisting with workflow coordination, troubleshooting scheduling issues, and helping maintain smooth daily operations when needed. What You Bring Minimum 5 years of veterinary experience with at least 3 years of management experience The ideal candidate is a licensed veterinary technician with the ability to become licensed in the state Demonstrated success leading and developing teams Strong working knowledge of veterinary hospital operations, scheduling, and performance management Functional operational skills with the ability to actively support front desk or patient workflow needs in a small-team environment Financial literacy, including basic budgeting and KPI monitoring Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills A collaborative leadership style with a commitment to accountability and culture Why This Role Matters As our first Practice Manager, you will help define how our hospital operates and grows.
